Just to set the record straight, as we often have people asking us about our name:

The names Groovy Movies and Groovy Movies Limited (or similar titles) are protected and registered.

Subsequent outfits, such as the Groovy Movie' Company, are not affiliated to us.

The name Groovy Movies was first used by Yeti at school as reference to his strange collection of cine films (which includes moments from Serious Moonlight). Then in 1987 Groovy Movies began producing abstract and surreal films, which were billed as such in numerous publications. See the prehistoric website here. A few of our Groovy Movies films were screened at Glastonbury Festival a number of years before the Groovy Movie Company started up there with a similar name.
